Girl Can't Stop Crying After Reuniting With Dog Following A Car Accident

Having your dog run away and get lost is every dog parent’s worst nightmare. For the Luckett family, this was even worse because their missing dog came shortly after getting into a horrible car accident.

On Sunday night this family was stopped at a stoplight before being rear-ended by a car traveling at 50 miles per hour. Unfortunately, their dog Fergus was thrown from the car. The last thing his dad saw was him limping away. Once he emerged from the wreck, Meridith, Fergus’s mom searched for him, but couldn’t find anything.

Most likely being scared out of his mind from what had just happened, Fergus bolted away. Meredith and her family called the authorities and local shelters immediately, hoping that someone had found him and turned him in. To their surprise, countless people from all over Nashville had begun to look for their missing dog. In only 30 minutes, residents of their town began showing up to help and look for him.

Hours became days and Fergus was nowhere to be found. The family began to give up hope and were so sad about their missing family member. Finally, days later, Fergus was finally found. Meredith received a call saying that a family had her dog. She jumped out of bed and was so grateful that he was finally found. They arrived at her house and Fergus jumped out, running over to greet his mother.

Meredith, who was overwhelmed with emotions, burst into tears the second they got reunited. This reunion was filmed and made all who viewed it cry along with them.
