This smart Golden retriever mama has a big litter – 10 puppies to look after and keep well-fed. Golden retrievers typically have litters of 5-10 puppies so this mama definitely is at the top of that range and has her paws full. When you have just a few puppies, it’s easy for the mama dog to lay on her side to let the puppies nurse, but when you have 10 puppies who all need to eat, you have to get a little more creative to ensure they all get enough. That is how this mama golden developed a unique and awesome puppy feeding style! This one definitely has the Awwww….. factor! It’s too cute for words!
This mama rolls over on her back so her litter of ten hungry pups can all get access to milk. They all circle around her and enjoy their meal. What a sweet mama dog, she looks like she’s taking great care of her puppies!
