Everyone meet Carl, an adorable rescue pup who had lived some of his life in a shelter. One day his forever loving daddy came to take him home, but that night something terrible happened – he started acting strange.
Carl is an adorable 17 pound fur ball who was forever in search for his loving home while being cared for at the San Diego Humane Society. One day, a man called Drew came to the shelter looking for a golden retriever and decided to take his fur kid home, but didn’t know what was about to happen.
One night Carl started barking frantically inside the house and woke Drew up. The man thought that his fur kid was scared or lonely so he calmed him down and went back to sleep. Seconds later, Carl started barking again and once again Drew woke up and calmed him down. Carl just wouldn’t stop barking and that’s when Drew decided to switch on the lights to see what was going on, and he was terrified. See what happened on page 2 below.

The house was filled with smoke and although Drew couldn’t see or smell it, Carl could tell and thus they quickly ran out of the apartment.
