There is nothing saddening like losing your best pet friend. 10 year old pup called Cena who was diagnosed with cancer sadly passed away and was put to rest in a tearful farewell.
The pup was serving in the military service with the US marine in Afghanistan. The farewell was sad for Michigan residents but it was a hero’s send-off.
Cena was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was bitterly euthanized in Muskegon. The tear-filled sendoff saw the pup laid to rest in a coffin draped in a flag.
Cena was an expert at bomb sniffing, a role he dedicated his life to. He risked his life for mankind and the tear-filled farewell was just befitting.
In a rare moment, the celebrated pup was driven in an open Jeep that was branded “Cancer Response Team”.
I think we can all agree that losing a pup is the worst thing that can ever happen, but what’s saddening here is that the nation has lost it’s pup. It’s not just one person – its everyone, you, me our neighbor – everyone, because thanks to Cena and his ability to sniff bombs, we’re still alive… and now he’s gone. But I bet he’ll watch from above…
Rest in Peace Cena.
