Happy Rescued Golden Retriever Pup Acts Like A Sea Lion After Getting Her Belly Rubbed!

Everyone meet this happy golden retriever girl who’s so delighted to be in Los Angeles, so happy to get her first belly rubs and so happy to be rescued that she acts like a sea lion to entertain the crowd!

On the 14th of February, the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue welcomed 10 beautiful golden retriever pups at LAX. According to their press release, “At one time, Golden Retrievers were a status symbol in Istanbul,Turkey. When the novelty wore off they were abandoned in the streets where many starve to death.”

“Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue was contacted by Adopt a Golden in Atlanta and were thrilled to help out this initiative to save Goldens!” Barbara Gale, the founder of Southern Calfiornia Golden Retriever Rescue said, “We have a waiting list of wonderful people who want to adopt and love a Golden Retriever.”

“That is one of the many reasons that we are participating in this initiative to save these dogs. There are very few rescue Golden Retrievers available in the US at this time. It is costly, but we will continue to fundraise to make sure to get these poor babies off the streets and out of the woods of Istanbul, and into loving US homes.”

This sweet girl got her belly rubbed and it seems like she liked it so much, she’s trying to rub her own belly on the ground now! Her silly wiggles make her look like a sea lion! Now take a look at this baby on page 2 below!
