This is Happy, a happy golden retriever who’s at the Elwood Canal trying to rescue a leaf from drowning! Yes, this pup knows his stuff and he’s a smart one!
Happy the golden retriever has been taught to save anyone from drowning so if he hears any cries of help, he should try and rescue and save lives. This is that the pup was told, but no one mentioned the leaf!
As soon as Happy saw the leaf, he understood that probably that leaf couldn’t talk but seeing his situation – the leaf was turning and twisting in the water – he could tell that the leaf needed help!
A word of advice, when your pup is near water, please always make sure you’re close by to avoid any accidents.
