Some toys are the kind that a pup will instantly fall in love with and claim as their own, others are the type that will be ripped to shreds within minutes of their first reveal, and then there are those that simply take a while to get used to!

Michael the Labrador pup has been gifted a new toy, but it’s not just any old stuffed doll – it’s one that records the sounds it hears around it and mimics them. Naturally, the pup is having some difficulty trusting it, especially as he barks and hears a higher pitched version of those noises getting shot back in his direction!

Gradually, the pup starts to warm up to the toy, but still keeps a wary distance, nudging it with his nose and backing away when it gets too loud. But the brave pup finally realizes that the toy means him no harm and seems to connect his sounds to the sounds the toy makes.

By the end of his several minutes of experimentation, Michael has dragged the toy along with him and is peacefully resting with it. I guess the toy turned out to be pretty great after all!
