A pool noodle isn’t really a piece of pasta! It is a piece of polyethylene foam that is shaped into a tube and is usually hollow. The noodles can be used by people of all ages while they swim.
The “noodle” is derived from Jakks Pacific’s trademark FunNoodle which was a water product made to be a foam tube water toy, according to Wikipedia. In case you are wondering, there is almost no difference between a pool noodle and the foam pieces you use to wrap your pipes in the winter.
The most notable differences are the bright colors of the pool noodles and that the insulation is a higher density foam. In this video, Angel, the Labrador, is riding on pool noodles with mom! What great fun! Angle is reportedly very protective of dad and extremely smart. She is smart, she gets to go for a dip in the pool and mom is doing all the work!
