He Isn't An English Bulldog, He's A Lion In Disguise!

Everyone meet Enzo, an adorable English bulldog pup who’s not sounding like a typical English bulldog, instead he’s roaring like a lion! If you are bulldog parents, I bet you know this!

Enzo the fur ball is growling like no one’s business today and all because he got to play with the love of his life, the tennis ball. Although I’m not sure why he’s growling, he does seem to be enjoying himself! But here’s the thing, when your fur balls growl, don’t punish them.

According to Whole Dog Journal, “Growling is a valuable means of communication for a dog—something that dog owners should appreciate and respect rather than punish. It’s very common for dog owners to punish their dogs for growling.”

“Unfortunately, this often suppresses the growl—eliminating his ability to warn us that he’s about to snap, literally and figuratively. On other occasions, punishing a growling, uncomfortable dog can induce him to escalate into full-on aggression.” Now take a look at this video on page 2 below!
