Hero Bus Driver Stops By To Feed This Hungry Pup Every Single Day

In rural parts of Canada that are so overpopulated with strays that it’s impossible to rescue them all, Feed the Furbabies Canada has been making moves to ensure that none of them have to suffer from starvation.

The organization focuses on giving food and supplies to pets who have been rescued, and also providing food to those who are still on the street and don’t have a place in the shelter. This is done through volunteers, and one of them is a bus driver who makes an unscheduled stop every day for this reason.

It all started two years ago, when the bus driver was going through her usual route and spotted a thin, emaciated pup on the side of the road, scavenging through a garbage can for food. When she drove by him again a second time, she tossed a bag of dog food at him, and the rest was history.

Since then, without fail, the pup waits by the roadside at the exact same spot for the bus driver. He gets a bag of food from her every working day on Mondays to Fridays. No matter what the weather is like, he will always be waiting there patiently, without fail.

When this tradition first started, the pup was skittish and nervous when the food bag was provided, but as time has gone on, he has gradually become less frightened, though he maintains a wariness. He’s also a lot less thinner and seems to be much better fed, which is exactly what the driver and the founder of the Feed the Furbabies organization are happy to see!
