Hero Dad Saves The Day After Dog Falls Into Frozen Pool

We all know that our country is experiencing very odd weather happenings, and we aren’t the only ones that are confused. In some southern states, swimming pools and roads are being frozen over, leaving dogs and their parents confused.

For Dan Holmes and his dog Christi, things went from bad to worse with this ongoing inclement weather. As Dan was outside of his home in Texas after a recent snowfall, he was looking around with Christi. It seemed to him that his pool was frozen over, which is something that hasn’t happened… ever.

Christi decided to see for herself and began to walk across the pool. Just as she was in the middle of the pool, the ice started to crack and gave out under her paws. Dan immediately came to save her and rushed over to the pool. Luckily, he managed to save Christi in time and even had to get into the pool himself to do it. The pool was freezing and left Christi and Dan in shock. Thankfully, they were both alright but really scared about what had happened.

This whole incident was caught on Dan’s security camera. He posted the video and warned his other friends to be very careful outside with their dogs. Many people in the Texas area commented on his video and shared in his pain, saying that this incident had happened to them as well. With southerners experiencing weather that they haven’t before, something like this was bound to happen. Dan and Christi were lucky to be alright after this event, but for others, they might not be so lucky.
