Heroic Doctors Build A New Nose For Beagle Puppy Who Was Hit By A Train!

Rescuers found Special, a Beagle mix, on train tracks with his nose missing. He was one of three dogs who had been hit by an oncoming train.

Both Special’s mother and one of his siblings died in the crash and although he suffered a horrible injury, Special is undergoing a miraculous recovery.

Many vets recommended he be put down, but Special was rescued by Big Dog Ranch Rescue based in Florida, where Special was discovered. The rescue made a commitment to Special to give him all the care and love he needs to recover and now veterinary surgeons are reconstructing a nose and jaw for the tiny beagle mix. Big Dog Ranch Rescue says once he has recovered he will be looking for a forever home.
