Homeless Man Grooms Rescued Harvey Puppies To Make Them Adorable Again

We all have the capacity to make change happen in our little corner of this world. If you don’t think that is true – read on, and we will prove it to you.

Stanley Baizle evacuated from Hurricane Harvey to an evacuee shelter that allowed pets. At the same shelter was Sasha Von Troetsch, the founder of Your Hipster Pets and self-employed groomer. Sasha had brought along a group of volunteers to help those in need. Sasha recalled that Stanley, even though an evacuee himself, wanted to pitch in and help. Turns out, Stanley had been a dog groomer for more than 29 years!

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! But, even more, surprising to Sasha was that Stanley was homeless. Stanley lost his parents five years ago and has been homeless for two years. He was living at a park in Houston and would groom pets to earn extra money. Stanley had traveled 24 miles to stay at the shelter where he met Sasha. When asked why he wanted to help, Stanley said he wasn’t raised not to help others.

Sasha was touched by Stanley’s willingness to help and his plight – so, she set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for him. Sasha wants to help Stanley get back on his feet – he has a heart of gold and deserves a job, and a home. If you have the ability to help, please visit the GoFundMe Page and donate a little to help Stanley. So far, they have raised just over $3,500 for Stanley.
