Dogs love to play with toys. If you don’t provide them with enough toys and a variety of toys, they will probably find other things to play with… like your children’s toys, your couch, the legs of chairs, and your shoes!
Even if you do give them plenty of toys, sometimes the things that are lying around the house are just too tempting, and your dog can destroy a lot of things thinking they are toys! Part of being a pet parent is teaching your dog what they can – and can’t chew on.
Oscar is a three-month-old dachshund in the video below. Oscar has not learned that shoes are not toys yet! Watch as the tiny dog picks up a shoe that is about the same size as he is and dashes off! That is one quick puppy! Let’s hope dad caught up to Oscar before the shoe had too many holes in it!
