How This Rescue Saved Lives Before, During And After Hurricane Florence Will Make You Proud

As anyone who has been paying attention to the news would be aware of, recently Hurricane Florence swept through some of the coastal cities in North Carolina. A category 4 hurricane, this weather phenomenon was incredibly devastating to the state, and caused massive flooding.

In an effort to escape the storms and stay safe, many families evacuated. Sadly, in the process of evacuation, many pets were left behind in homes and buildings. Some of these include pups that were abandoned by their families. In other cases, shelters and rescue centers found themselves with a dilemma – how were they to move all these pups under their care to a safer location?

Peak Lab Rescue is an animal organisation that went out to rescue these poor pups before, during, and after the hurricane, pulling some off the streets and relocating pups in shelters that were in the flooding zone. It is thanks to the superhuman efforts showcased by these brave rescuers that many of these pups were saved.
