Dogs need regular exercise to keep trim – just like people do! Domesticated dogs have it a lot easier than their ancestors!
They do not have to hunt for their food or find a warm place to sleep. Some breeds of dog are rather lazy and have to be encouraged to go out and move around. Other breeds of dog (Huskies, for example) have what seems like an endless supply of energy and are always ready for an adventure.
Maggie, a six-month-old purebred German Shepherd who has a lot of energy! She also loves to play ball. Her dad is outside taking this video of her while she runs around and has a blast! The two seem to be playing a game of chase! Maggie isn’t willing to share her blue ball! Maggie is lucky to have such a loving dad and a large backyard to run around and play in!
