Some pups are trained to be service pups, to help the people around them! Considering just how helpful their presences can be, it is a noble profession and an important job. But just how do they get to that point?

The answer is simple – once you have filtered out potential pups by temperament, the next thing that needs to be done is to see which pup bypasses the training process!

Cody the Beagle pup is undergoing such a training! It remains to be seen whether it will work out for him, but he’s certainly doing a pretty good job so far – especially for just his second day of training! This pup is to be trained for public access work, so he needs to be very good at staying put when needed.

It looks like he’s excelling in that command at the moment – even with all the potential distractions around him. Just look at how relaxed he is!
