Loving Family Does Something Special For Their Pup Who Just Turned 12!

Dogs don’t get to enjoy a lot of the milestones and celebrations that humans do. As an example, the red letter day that is graduation is not one that most pups will ever get to experience.

Even if they do graduate from a training school, it’s not quite the same!

When Yogi the Maltese-Yorkshire terrier-Shih Tzu mix pup turned 12 – the age that some kids in the world graduate elementary school – his big (human) sister Olivia Dufresne thought it wasn’t quite fair that the pup wouldn’t get that joy, believing he should be honored anyway.

Yogi and his whole family are very close, and his intelligence, compassion, and intuitive empathy have made him almost human-like for the rest of his family, especially his sisters. His two sisters Olivia and Pamela have always loved coming up with funny “what if Yogi were human?” situations, and that’s when Olivia got the idea for a funny switching prank!

With a few hours of Photoshop work, Olivia seamlessly added Yogi’s face over graduation robes, making it look like he had completed his schooling too! She then secretly swapped out the center photo above her family’s mantelpiece – which was an old baby picture – with that photograph.

It took a while before her family even noticed the change, but when they did, they found it absolutely hilarious! They even decided to keep the arrangement as is. Now, flanked by the graduation pictures of his sisters, Yogi stands proud in his hat and robe, no different from any other person!
