Loving Pup Adopts Baby Ducklings After Their Mama Goes Missing... Aww...

It’s wonderful how cross-species love is a fact that exists. Captive cheetahs, for example, are regularly paired with Labrador pups in order to help reduce the former’s anxiety while in zoos, and the two become inseparable friends.

There’s even a lion who, due to his physical health issues, has a pride that is made out of Dachshund pups! And the most obvious example of this, of course, is a Mom and Dad’s love for their pups!

So then it’s no surprise that we see this sort of species-transcending love spill over into familial love! After finding nine orphaned ducklings wandering around the grounds of a castle, Fred the Labrador takes it upon himself to become their adoptive father and give them the love and care they need!

It must be a strange sight for everyone to see, a golden Labrador Retriever with nine ducklings waddling after him, but he doesn’t mind at all. We think he’s going to be a great dad!
