You are about to meet two unlikely friends. Cricket, the golden retriever, and Larry, the tortoise, have what can only be described as an adorable friendship!
Christine Hill, the proud mom, says that Larry was rescued because he was constantly being attacked by other tortoises. Larry’s life was miserable, and he was scared, and he wanted to run away! When Larry met Cricket, the bond was instantaneous! The two are best friends, and Larry finally feels safe! No tortoise in its right mind will mess with Larry – he has his own guard dog now!
Cricket and Larry sleep together, hang out together, and even eat together. Larry hasn’t tried to run away since moving in with Hill’s family! Watch the video and see how attentive Cricket is to his slow-moving friend! Then, when they are laying in the grass, it looks like Larry wants to cuddle!
