Madeline, a playful pup found an unlikely, yet friendly opponent, someone much, much smaller that you can imagine! Now I’m not sure whether they’re being friendly or not, but what I do know is that it’s hilarious!
A cute and adorable video was posted on YouTube by Jason Wheeler which captures a 2-year old Madeline making friends (or foes) with a Pawley’s ghost crab on a South Carolina beach! First she stops to stare down at the ‘weird side-stepping thing’, who’s ever ready to take a swipe at her cute nose. Then it becomes hilarious!

Now the crab thinks that he’s in danger so it stars darting in all directions trying to escape Madeline and her paws and the two start the cat and mouse chase! Then it looks like the crab has an idea – it gets close to the sea so that the water can wash him back to the sea! Madeline is confused because she can no longer see the crab anywhere on the horizon.
