Man Adopts Shelter Dog Then Shoots It, But Is Not Convicted

This is the most heartbreaking cases of animal cruelty I’ve come across today. This man adopted a dog, but a week later he shoots it for a reason you won’t believe.

I don’t know what to say about this man really. Early this year, a man called Ryan Landry of Berlin, New Hampshire responded to an ad on Facebook regarding a shelter dog called Bruno who needed a home. This man wanted to adopt the one year old puppy, he signed the contract and before leaving, he was told that he could bring the dog back anytime, free of cost, no questions asked.

Now fast forward a few months, Ryan posted an ad on Facebook and mentioned that he wanted to give the dog away to a great home. He clearly mentioned that Bruno was a “great dog in need of a great home.”

He also mentioned that Bruno was “great with other animals and with kids.” Why he was giving him away? He had no time. A week after the post, Bruno was dead in the woods. Graphic Image. Viewer Discretion Advised.

In September a local resident saw Bruno’s bullet ridden body in the woods and it was clear that the poor dog was shot at least 4 times.

When Ryan was arrested and confronted, he didn’t deny shooting the dog because he claimed that he had no choice and that the dog had already bitten three children. Now, this was a week before he claimed that the dog was awesome with children. So in a week’s time, the pup somehow bit three children?

Ryan had choices, he could have taken Bruno back to the shelter instead of murdering him. Unfortunately in New Hampshire, shooting a “dangerous” dog is not a crime so while Ryan walks free, Bruno won’t ever get justice. Please SHARE this post with your friends. People need to know!
