Dogs are renowned for their heightened senses and their amazing knack for sniffing out bad things and bad people. That’s why the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed E.J. into their ranks – a 22 month old German Shepherd!
E.J. is still in training but you can see he’s enjoying every minute of it. The clever pooch has already had over 350 hours of training and he’s only just halfway through! He’ll be trained in all aspects of law enforcement but he’ll specialize in sniffing out drugs.
His sense of smell is 1000 times stronger than that of his human colleagues, so he’ll definitely excel at his job! E.J. is a kind, sympathetic pup, who’s not vicious at all – he’s just a professional. Police dogs are an important part of law enforcement and can help with many difficult tasks. Make sure to like and share E.J.’s story with your friends!
