No Death Row For Unwanted Pets At New $30m Animal Shelter

Animal lovers will surely be delighted with this recent good news! Approximately 30 million dollars will now be allocated to transform a 10.5 hectare property to a new home for dogs.

With this new home, more than 10,000 dogs each year will not be put to death row and will find a new home instead of being euthanized. Families can visit this place and adopt dogs they’d like to take home. Dog experts will also assess all dogs and determine the best home type that they require in order to assure that not only will they have a new home, but they will also fit into it seamlessly.

Dogs who take longer to be adopted are free to stay in the shelter with no time limit as well. The construction for this gold-hearted shelter will immediately commence next year. I can hardly wait! Now rescuing animals will be seen in a different light as Sydney will provide them with a home instead of rescuing them and euthanizing them when they were not rehomed after a certain period of time.

Because of this initiative, every pet will have a better chance of survival. I hope that the world put more effort into building more homes like this! Sydney started it, and I hope that the rest of the world will take its cue.
