Now Even Your Pups Can Uber With New Service From Uber!

Uber is a private hire company founded in 2009 and is based out of San Francisco, California. Today. Uber operates in more than 625 cities around the world.

Just download their app, and you can get a ride anywhere, anytime! There is also UberEATS, founded in August 2014, and it is a way to order your meal online and have it delivered right to your door! In Singapore, commuters and shoppers will be able to take their pets with them and even get $2 off the booking fee for the rest of the year!

The rates for this new service will begin on October 20, 2017. The service is being called UberPET. Depending on the driver, you can bring your dog, cat, turtle, rabbit, hamster, a bird in a cage, or a fish in a bowl or plastic bag! The only rule issued by Uber that pet be accompanied by a rider. The driver gets to decide if more than one pet will be allowed to ride at one time. Uber does request that all pets be on a leash or in a carrier for safety.

The rider is going to be held responsible for the animal and its behavior. There is no plan to have any insurance coverage for the animals on the service. The rider is also responsible for any damage done to the vehicle during the ride, but little things like slobber on the window or shedding will not result in additional charges.
