One Man’s Trash Is Another Man’s Treasure, Even If It’s A Dog

We live in a cruel world where people would rather throw away dogs than bring them into a shelter. Fortunately for this dog, he was about to become another family’s treasure.

Pablo Villamyaor was on a bike ride in a quiet area of Paraguay with his wife when he witnessed the cruelest act. A vehicle had pulled over on the side of the road and threw a small bag over into the bushes then sped off. By the time Villamayor and his wife got there, they were completely astonished by what they saw.

Inside the trash bag was a dog. It came running towards them crying for help. It was traumatized and they stopped to give it attention. They had been in the right place at the right time and were given an opportunity to change this dog’s life.

The puppy seemed to be alright and was just a bit shaken up. Villamayor decided to take the dog on his handlebars and pedal him home. They decided to adopt him and gave him the name Lorenzo.

Lorenzo quickly warmed up to the family, in what appeared to be Fate. Who knows why anyone would dump a living being on the side of the road like trash? Lorenzo did not deserve this but if it didn’t happen, he would not have found his forever family.

Now, he is happy and safe and with people who care about him dearly. He will be treasured forever!
