People Tried Washing Away This Dog's Eyebrow, Turns Out, They're Her Real Eyebrows!

Stray dogs are often the melting points in our hearts. We hate to see them helplessly wander the streets and wish we could do more to help.

Like any of our dogs, strays can be any breed, size, or shape, and often also have a uniqueness to them. The story of Betty is most definitely unique, and a rather intriguing one at that! At only ten days old, Betty was a stray pup roaming the streets of Russia in search of food and a warm bed. When she was picked up and taken to a shelter, people thought she had been played a mean prank on.

It seemed as if somebody had drawn eyebrows on her and thought it would be funny. Frustrated and disappointed, the animal shelter frantically tried to wash off the marker and get her clean.

However, the more they washed the less the eyebrows seemed to want to come off. It turns out, Betty’s eyebrows were, well, Betty’s eyebrows! A sight that had never been seen before by any of the shelter employees.

The eyebrows are in fact birthmarks Betty has from both her parents. Many a time has she been picked up for adoption, just to be returned. One woman, however, saw Betty and knew she wanted to give her the home she deserves forever.

Although at first scared and untrusting, Betty now lives a happy life with her new dog parent Oskana. She has a warm bed, more than enough food, and there is never a shortage of love and affection for her!
