According to the FDA’s news release:

105 cases of this product were sold to distributors, retail stores, internet retailers and directly to consumers in the US.

These products DID NOT test positive for Salmonella, but are also being voluntarily recalled out of an abundance of caution because they were manufactured in the same manufacturing facility on the same day as the product that tested positive.

Salmonella can affect dogs as it is known to cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever. If you find any symptoms and if your pet has consumed the recalled product, please contact your vet. Please do not feed the recalled product to your pet and dispose of it or return it to where you purchased it from for a refund. If you have questions about the recall, you can call the company at 1-866-922-9222 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. eastern time.
