Rocco, an eight-year-old German shepherd, was stabbed while aiding an arrest on January 28. Sadly, he died from his injuries on January 30.

Rocco was a Canine Officer for the Pittsburgh Police, and he served there since 2008. Rocco’s situation was rapidly deteriorating, and several law enforcement officers decided to visit the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center to show their support for him.
