Poor Pup Had To Have His Leg Amputated After Being Shot... This Is Heartbreaking

A horrible crime was committed in Maury County in the little town of Santa Fe – a town with such a small population it doesn’t have its own sign.

Austin, the Daddy to a golden retriever mix pup named Rooster, was shocked when he came home from work and found his pup lying on the driveway, covered in blood. Rooster was rushed to the Veterinary Wellness Clinic of Columbia, where it was discovered that he had been shot twice – once in the leg, and once in the chest, the latter of which almost killed him. While the bullet fragments were safely removed from his chest, his leg couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated.

The poor pup emerged from surgery full of cheer and gusto, a true testament to his strength and the beauty of his nature. His Daddy is relieved that he is fine, but angry with those who have done this to him. Sadly, the person who committed the crime is still out there.
