Pregnant Dog Rescued From Horrible Living Conditions Births 13 Puppies!

Being neglectful to an animal can do irreparable harm. Fortunately, some of these neglected animals can find a second chance at life with the help of kind-hearted humans. Especially certain breeds of dogs, who have a bad reputation, find themselves in terrible situations.

Such was the case for Blue, a Pitbull who seemed to be forever confined to a chain. Her owner tied her to a tree and let her fend for herself. Not only was she alone, but she was also pregnant. As in, could give birth any minute pregnant. Fortunately, she was spotted by a woman who became very worried about her. She convinced her owners to give her to rescuers, and they ultimately obliged.

She was moved to a veterinary hospital, that could give her the shelter she needed. It was the perfect timing, as she went into labor that same night. She was promptly taken care of by the medical staff, who helped her all the way through her labor. After a long while, she safely delivered her babies. And not just a couple of babies – 13 of them! If Blue wouldn’t have been spotted, there’s a high chance she and her babies wouldn’t have made it. But with the proper care of the vets, the family was as healthy as could be.

They didn’t have to wait long to find forever homes. After a short while in foster care, they were all adopted by sweet, loving families. Even though the road was bumpy, they got the happy ending they deserved.
