There are few things more heartwarming than watching a pup become reunited with his family. Recently, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) did just that when they discovered a chocolate labrador pup who had been stolen from his home.
166 animals were rescued from a property in Adams County, Ohio, by the HSUS, where they were found living in deplorable conditions. Many of them were chained outside and surrounded by rotting deer carcasses that served as their only food. One of these poor animals was this missing fur ball who, despite how he’d been mistreated, greeted the rescuers excitedly with a wagging tail. Aww! What a strong, friendly pup!
After scanning all the pups recovered from the property, the HSUS discovered that the friendly fur ball was microchipped and had a name: Chuckie. They were then able to reunite the pup with his family! When they brought Chuckie to his home, the pup ran straight for his family without a moment’s hesitation. He’s so happy to be back! This touching story is sure to bring a tear to your eye. Please like and share this inspiring story!
