Pup Parents Make Horrifying Discovery At Local Dog Park

Human beings have the capacity to give and love like no other. In times of despair and heartache, you can always find someone who will hold your hand and guide you through.

Then there are other types of people who seem to have no moral compass at all. They seem to go through life thinking of ways to hurt other people and their pets. We are not talking practical jokes done for fun or to get revenge. We are talking about people who poison medications, put razor blades in apples at Halloween, or set fire to someone’s home. The latest sad excuse for humanity comes to us from Florida.

A person put fish hooks in raw meat. Then they rolled the meat up into meatball shapes and took the meat to a dog park in Bicentennial Park located in Roman Beach, Florida. You know that dogs have an incredible sense of smell and unfortunately a dog found the meatballs and scarfed some down! The owner, identified as Rita, rushed her pup to the Tomoka Pines Veterinary Hospital.

Thankfully, the dog hadn’t ingested any of the hooks! The park was closed, and Volusia County Parks and Recreations had officers scour the park to see if they could find any more of the meat. There were only five meatballs found, all by the dog owner. According to reports, a similar incident happened in the same park about five years ago. Watch the video for more details.
