Puppy Power! Hero Pup Honored By Mesa Fire Department!

Remus the Labrador was at his fellow canine friend Smokey’s home when something shocking and unexpected happened.

Smokey, not particularly good at swimming, slipped and fell in the deep end of the pool and was unable to make his way back out. Remus quickly dived in and helped his friend get back onto dry land.

The whole incident was caught on CCTV footage, and it quickly went viral as the world praised Remus for his brave, heroic, and life-saving actions. Now, Remus is being honored by the MESA fire department for being a hero and saving the life of his best friend! He received a delicious bag of dog treats that he can’t wait to dig into and was super well behaved as he accepted his award!

Remus is a model citizen and we’re so impressed with him for his bravery and kindness! We’re sure Smokey is thrilled to have a friend like him. Congratulations, pup!
