Rescue Dog Waits Patiently All Day To Welcome Her Dad Home From Work

One day, a man walked at a coal mine he visits for work when he spotted a lonely dog in the vicinity of the mine. The dog seemed lost but he wasn’t sure where she came from or if she had a family or not.

The man kept visiting the mines, and he kept spotting the dog, so he figured she must be a stray. Each time he came to the mines, the dog would run to him, smiling and excited. She won his heart in no time.

During one visit, the man decided to take the dog home and give her a loving family. His wife, Sara Fitzwater, was more than happy to welcome the stray into their lives. They named her Sadie Kate. She immediately bonded with everyone, but it became obvious that the one she loved most was Sara’s husband, the one who rescued her.

Sara works from home, so she soon noticed that, when it gets close to the time when her dad should get home, Sadie gets up and looks down the street hoping she would see him. At first, Sara thought she did this because she was familiar with her husband. But this little routine between the two of them is still going.

Every day, Sadie patiently awaits the return of her rescuer. And it’s no surprise that Sadie is so in love with Sara’s husband. He is one of the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet and he treats Sadie like a princess. The once-abandoned dog has not only found her home, but she found her soulmate. And the family couldn’t be happier.
