Rescuers Ask For Prayers As They Try To Save Two Stray Dogs Hit By Cars

Rescuers with the Stray Rescue of St.Louis received calls about two dogs hit by cars in different parts of the city and needed urgent medical attention.

The rescue quickly dashed off the first scene, where they met a dog, later named Wyman, lying in a corner by a fence, unable to walk. They carefully got him onto a sheet and transported him to their Trauma Center.

On the other hand, someone was kind enough to bring the second dog, later named Sam, to the rescue. Although Sam wagged his tail as he was excited to see people, he was in very bad shape.

Stray Rescue shared a video of both dogs on YouTube and urged the public to pray for them and make donations.

Sadly, Sam didn’t make it. The rescue explained that he had difficulty breathing due to the blood in his lungs. He also had a perforated GI tract, which puts him at risk of septic. They added that he passed away surrounded by “love and prayers.”

In a separate update, they shared better news on Wyman – his mom had found him through their post on social media. His mom had been looking for him for two after he went missing from home.

Although Wyman is still getting medical attention, there is a good chance he will recover soon. The best part is that he has his mom by his side to go through it.
