Russia Gives France Beautiful Shepherd To Honor Dog Who Died Protecting Us All!

If you’ve been watching the news you’ve likely heard about the horrible attack that happened in France on November 13th.

Among the lives lost in the attack and the events that followed was a brave Belgian Shepherd police dog named Diesel. The canine officer was helping police raid apartments in a northern suburb of France on November 18, 2015 in search for the suspected mastermind behind the shootings when he was sadly killed when a terrorist detonated a suicide vest.

Diesel’s sacrifice captured hearts across the world and while people across the globe pull together to support France in this difficult time, Russia made a heartwarming gesture of their own to show their support and solidarity with France.

Russia, a nation that lost hundreds of citizens when terrorists brought down an airplane earlier this month, chose a beautiful way to pay tribute to Diesel and the police officers who have worked tirelessly to find the terrorists who committed the recent attacks in Paris.

Russia gifted France with a German Shepherd puppy, named Dobrynia, after a well-known Russian hero! Dobrynia will serve as a K9 officer in France.
