When You See What Caitlyn, The Abused Pup, Looks Like Today You'll Be Stunned!

We all know the story of Caitlyn, right? The dog who’s muzzle was shut tight with an electric tape to stop her from barking? Well you’ve got to see this pup’s amazing transformation!

Earlier June 2015, I wrote about Caitlyn, a 15-month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, and her nightmare owner. The owner, a man called William Leonard Dodson from South Carolina, bought Caitlyn for $20 sometime in May 2015. After buying her, he taped her muzzle shut with an electric tape just because he said she wouldn’t stop barking.

As soon as her owner was arrested, the poor pup was taken to the vet for emergency medical assistance. Today Caitlyn is making great progress and is happily staying with her foster parents who absolutely love her and care for her despite all her scars but the best part is what she’s up to now!

After her rescue, Caitlyn became a ray of hope for the millions of abused pups and you know what’s the best part? In an upcoming 2016 Charleston Animal Society calendar, Caitlyn will be posing with firefighter Joshua Allen! Way to go! We are so glad Caitlyn is in better hands now and is getting the love and attention she deserves. Our hope is that one day, no other dogs will have to suffer like Caitlyn did.
