Head pressing may look cute, but in reality it is actually is the start of a serious health problem. When your pets press their heads against any hard surface it means that there’s damage to their nervous system. A damage in the nervous system is caused by numerous factors such as prosencephalon disease, toxic poisoning, tumors, infections, or other conditions.

If you see this happening to your fur kid, take him to the vet for necessary treatment.

It’s always best that you take them as soon as possible because the sooner they’re treated, the better for them. As for treatment, it really will depend on what’s causing your pet to press his head against the wall. Some cases will require hospitalization while other may require a different type of treatment.
