One thing that is very important to remember is that pups also vocalise their communication! Normally this is through the form of barking, but some breeds, such as the Husky, are more predisposed to howling instead. They are just better at it!
And since pups are social pack animals, once someone starts howling or barking somewhere, the rest will want to join in. This is probably something we are all too familiar with if we live in a neighbourhood full of pups – it gets incredibly noisy very quickly! More amusingly, you can get the same thing to happen with your own pups if you decide to howl at your pups.
This Dad is having a fun time doing so with his Beagle pup! The breed is well known for howling, so it is no surprise that this pup joins him on it almost immediately! It makes for a very adorable scene – we wonder what they are saying to each other in doggy language!
