Having a dog or a cat is a huge responsibility. Some people do not take it seriously, and millions of animals are taken to shelters every year in the United States.
One success story is Rocco’s. Rocco lived a long, hard life for nine years. He even spent two months at a high-kill shelter in Lancaster. The staff grew to love the old-timer, but he wasn’t going to be able to live there much longer. Hands, Paws & Hearts found him, rescued him and put him on START’s Transport in November.
He was moved to Pound To Posh located in Portland, Oregon. Would you believe that in only two short days, Rocco was on his way to a new home! He was adopted! This is a worthy cause to support, you can visit the GreaterGood.org page and make a donation! Do good, be good!
