Service Dogs Take A Field Trip To Disneyland And They Couldn't Be Happier!

Service Dogs Take A Field Trip To Disneyland And They Couldn't Be Happier!

Service dogs work very hard to learn their training and commands, so it’s only right that they get to have some fun sometimes, too! Everyone knows that these pups deserve the world, which is why this series of photos took the Internet by storm.

A group of service dogs in training with the Canine Companions for Independence were brought to Disneyland on a field trip that has everyone online saying “aww!”. The field trip was a great way for the pups to work on socialization skills, make some new friends, and just have fun and explore!

The pups, dressed with adorable Mickey Mouse ear headbands in different designs, absolutely loved the attention they received from those walking by. They posed for tons of photos in front of landmarks and familiar character mascots – including Winnie the Pooh, Chip n Dale, and of course, Mickey Mouse! On top of all that, they even got to go on some pup friendly rides.

Canine Companions for Independence plans to hold another field trip in a few months, so the pups can further put their knowledge and temperaments to the test. It’s important that these pups learn to be in crowds and around others, and the fact that it means more people know about them and awareness is raised on the mission of service dogs is a big plus! And of course, the pups have a blast.

All around, the trip was a huge success and taught the pups some new skills, and they won the hearts of everyone they met in the process!
