Sick Husky Finds New Home After Her Family Rejected Her For A New Puppy

A Husky named Luna was recently surrendered to a shelter after she became extremely ill. Her family had gotten a new puppy and could no longer afford to care for Luna when she became sick. So, they decided to surrender her to Sidewalk Specials.

Sidewalk Specials took Luna to their vet, and she was diagnosed with mange and tick bite fever. Immediately, they commenced treatment to help her get well. It didn’t take long before she started feeling much better, and her fur began growing again.

Luna fully recovered with time and care. Today, she looks like a completely new dog with beautiful fluffy hair and a radiant smile. Although it was sad that her family rejected her when she needed them the most, his life soon changed for the better.

Sidewalk Specials had promised to find Luna a perfect forever home when they took her in, and they did just that. Luna’s new family has several other rescue dogs, including a Husky, in their care, so she has several friends to play with.

Luna enjoys going on her daily walks with her mom and snuggling up with her on the couch afterward.

She also loves sledding on the beach with other huskies.
