Sick Pup Throws Tantrums When She Realizes She's Going For Another Vet Appointment

Vets can certainly be a scary place for any pup. Weird smells and sharp, pointy needles would be alarming for anyone, even humans! Luckily for pups, this is a well-known fact, and all vets strive to do their best to keep their clinics as friendly and as welcoming as possible.

Sadly, despite all that effort, most pups will find going to the vet super scary, like humans to the dentist! Lexi the Labrador certainly agrees with that statement. Despite this not being her first rodeo (she had, prior to this visit, three other regular visits for her treatment), Lexi still finds the vet daunting and keeps trying to pull back her leash!

We would like to spend a moment to applaud the behaviour of Lexi’s Mommy, Riekie van Schalkwyk, who maintains a gentle and loving tone even while Lexi refused to leave the car. With vets being scary places, the last thing a parent wants to do is add on to their pup’s stress!
