Small Dog Has Secret Meetings With Neighbor Behind Mom’s Back

Zola is a small dog, but she doesn’t act that way. This 2-year old corgi doesn’t let her small body or short leg hold her back and acts like she’s the biggest dog. It doesn’t matter what is in her way, she’s determined to get what she wants, and what she wants is to play with Rocky, her neighbor.

Her dealings would have gone unnoticed if her mom, Haley Smith, hadn’t paid close attention to her actions. Roughly three weeks ago, she noticed that Zola would head straight to the fence whenever it was time to go into the yard. She would make a real scene, running back and forth and barking at the fence. She would even wait by the door until she was allowed into the yard. She was just too excited about the whole thing.

It was only until they saw the black and white spotted face looking over that she finally understood. Zola would go crazy, jumping to try to reach the other side of the fence, and would fail miserably. She was determined to talk to Rocky and would run and try to jump over the fence any chance she got, which now became a nightly thing.

Rocky is a gentle dog who seems very interested in Zola. They haven’t had a chance to meet without the fence, but it’s clear that the dogs want to sniff and play with each other. Rocky is Zola’s ultimate challenge since she has many friends, and she is still trying to figure out how to reach him.

Perhaps one day, they will, sooner than later.
