Smiley, the golden retriever in a blind 12-year old therapy dog who is determined to help children with special needs! He also brightens the days of nursing home residents in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada. Smiley was named so because he’s always smiling, no matter what! This golden retriever was rescued from a puppy mill when he was one or two years old and when Joanne George had difficulties finding a good home for the pup, she decided to adopt him herself.
