Our canine companions always seem to have one trick or another up their sleeve. Generally, the mischievous dogs wait until we leave the room before carrying out their sneaky plans.
Be it nipping our food off our plates or stealing a toy, we know they can get up to mounds of mischief, but it certainly does not make us love them any less. Rescue dog, Lolita, is the picture of mischief herself!
Recently, Lolita’s pet parent, Catharina had her birthday. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Catharina could not celebrate with her friends in person, so she celebrated with them online. She had a cake and they all sang and chatted together. Catharina said she was quickly going to take a piece of cake to the doorman of her building and would be back in a few minutes.
Her friends waited for her when they noticed a little bobby head pop up on the video. It was Lolita! Thinking nobody could see her, Lolita helped herself to a piece of cake and managed to drag the entire thing onto the floor. When Catharina returned, she could not believe her eyes, but Lolita did not know that her friends were all still online!
The guilt party was identified within seconds! Catharina, however, was not angry at Lolita. Being a vet, she knew the cake was not good for her, so she kept a close eye. Lolita turned out to be perfectly fine and certainly provided the entertainment for the group!
