Soon After His Surgery, This Adorable Pup Wanted His Much-Deserved Hug!

Surgery and other invasive medical procedures can be incredibly physically, mentally, and emotionally draining for anyone, dogs included!

A pup who has to undergo surgery is likely to feel frightened, nervous, and uncomfortable during some parts of the process, and it can be a huge relief when everything is done and they get to come home!

This Labrador pup has just had surgery done in the side of his neck and towards the back of his head, and he’s exhausted from everything he’s been through. For a source of comfort, he goes straight to Daddy and demands a big hug. Dad wraps his arms around the pup, and the poor pooch lets himself be consoled and comforted by the love of his family.

This touching moment really shows that, while pups are always there for us, we make sure to always be there for them, too. The bond between a dog and their Mommy or Daddy is truly beautiful and irreplaceable.
