Special Needs Dog Who Was Surrendered 4 Times Gets Adopted For The Last Time

We have all heard the term ‘special-needs’ being used, and this usually refers to a child that is handicapped in some way and will require additional care, and perhaps medication.

The affliction can be anything from a physical handicap to mental challenges, and often requires a lifelong commitment from the parents/caregivers. The road ahead is often fraught with difficulties and challenges. Wouldn’t it be great if the same dedication was applied to our beloved pets if they were in the same situation?

Sadly, in the real-world animals that are sickly or handicapped in some way are often deemed unfit for this perfect world and are euthanized. This is usually done because it is seen as being the easier option for those who don’t really care or aren’t willing to find a more favorable solution. But on the brighter side, one often hears stories that are a beacon of hope such as that of a rescue dog that lost the use of both rear legs owing to an infection and was almost certainly destined to be euthanized.

Meet Bandit, a happy special-needs dog who had a history of rejection, and the situation did not look promising at all.

Luckily, salvation came in the shape of a compassionate, handicapped man who found it in his heart to offer him a permanent home.

The two became inseparable and one can’t help wondering if they were placed together by destiny, two souls binding through equal hardship.

The special needs of the one fully complemented the special needs of the other, a beautiful example of what a little compassion may achieve!
