A woman in Florida, Leah Saunders Goldstein, was driving when an unusual signpost on a tree.
The sign, written big and boldly, read “OUR DOG’S CLIMB TREES THEY ARE FINE.” She felt it was merely a strange random message until she saw something that left her in utter shock.
As it turns out, a dog in the neighborhood indeed loved climbing the tree.
Daisy is the dog, and she lives with Lisa Levine and her family in a house close by. Levine had adopted Daisy last year, only to discover later that she loved trees. It happened first in the backyard when Levine newly brought her home.

Levine said a neighbor called her attention to it. It was the first time of what would become a frequent occurrence. On a particular day, some people had to call 911 to get help for Daisy.

On many occasions, passersby have knocked on Levine’s door to inform her that Daisy was stuck on the tree. Usually, the dog’s mom would thank them and assure them there was no cause for alarm. Levine said she often got people looking at her as crazy. However, she’s not because Daisy would climb down whenever she had had enough of the view.
The signpost on the tree was the creation of Levine’s family friend to assuage concerns. While it has helped people stop worrying about Daisy so much, it hasn’t stopped people from inquiring and wanting to see her in action.
